Memorial activities will be held around China tomorrow to mark the 10th anniversary of the death of Chinese queen of songs, or Deng Lijun in mandarin.

A commemorative concert will be held in Teresa Teng's hometown Taiwan, featuring some of China's hottest singers Jolin and Gigi.

In Hong Kong, the stage drama "Tasting of Teresa Teng" will be performed on May 8th to remember the late singer, who died of asthma in 1995 at the age of 42.

A commemorative music garden is also planned for the south China tourist city of Guilin.

The project is due to open to the public next May.
