Crespo stunned by Liverpool comeback AC Milan striker Hernan Crespo admitted that his dream had turned sour after what initially looked like a man-of-the-match winning performance was overshadowed by Liverpool's second-half comeback. Milan were cruising 3-0 at the interval but three Liverpool goals in six minutes saw the English side pull level. Rafael Benitez's side then prevailed 3-2 in the penalty shoot-out at Istanbul's Ataturk Stadium. Crespo said: "It's impossible to explain what has happened to us. We have to congratulate Liverpool because they have given everything for the win when everything looked to be over." "It was a dream game initially, but it was too beautiful to be true," he added.
