President Musharraf condemns blast in S. Pakistan

Musharraf condemned Tuesday morning's bombing in the southern Pakistani city of
Karachi as an act of terrorism and directed the concerned authorities to launch
an immediate and thorough investigation into it, according to Pakistan's
official news agency APP.
"We condemn this dastardly act-whoever is responsible for this should be held
accountable in accordance with the law," he said.
The Pakistani president expressed profound grief and sorrow over loss of
innocent lives in the bombing incident in Karachi and offered condolences to the
bereaved families.
He asked the concerned authorities to provide best medical treatment to the
injured.
According to local press reports, the blast has killed at least three people
and injured 21 others.
