Jinmao Tower surrounded by heavy smoke

Smoke billows from the basement of a
construction site near Jinmao Tower in the Lujiazui financial and trade
district in Shanghai December 22, 2005. Firefighters rushed to the site
and found the smoke was from a construction site near the tower,
which is currently the highest tower on the Chinese mainland.
