北京時間1月27日，鄭潔／晏紫在2006年的澳大利亞網(wǎng)球公開賽女雙決賽中以2：1逆轉(zhuǎn)頭號種子雷蒙德／斯托瑟，為中國網(wǎng)球迎來第一個"大滿貫"賽事的冠軍頭銜，送給了中國人民一個最好的新年禮物。

句中的Grand Slam就是網(wǎng)球界常常提到的"大滿貫賽事"，包括the Wimbledon
Tournament（英國溫布爾登網(wǎng)球錦標(biāo)賽）、the US Open（美國網(wǎng)球公開賽）、the Australian
Open（澳大利亞網(wǎng)球公開賽）、the French Open（法國網(wǎng)球公開賽）。
"大滿貫"同時也是網(wǎng)球、乒乓球等運(yùn)動中同一賽季內(nèi)贏得所有重要賽事的王冠稱號。以網(wǎng)球為例，如果運(yùn)動員在同賽季獲得四大滿貫賽事的冠軍，即為獲得"大滿貫"。乒乓"大滿貫"指的是獲得過包括奧運(yùn)會、世錦賽、世界杯在內(nèi)的單打冠軍。
Slam 最初是橋牌用語，指the winning of all the tricks during the play of one hand
in bridge （在橋牌中全勝），現(xiàn)常用于體育賽事。
