根據(jù)第二次提請(qǐng)全國(guó)人大常委會(huì)會(huì)議審議的個(gè)人所得稅法修正案草案，我國(guó)個(gè)人所得稅起征點(diǎn)由原來草案規(guī)定的1500元，調(diào)整為1600元。這是在充分吸收立法聽證會(huì)上的公眾意見后做出的決定。

Cutoff的意義很豐富，可以指“指定的期限或終結(jié)點(diǎn)”、“近路、捷徑”、“中斷”等等。如：a cutoff of funds（資金的中斷）；an electricity cutoff（停電）。報(bào)道中的cutoff point指的是“起征點(diǎn)”，那么，personal income tax cutoff point 也就是“個(gè)人所得稅起征點(diǎn)”。
