The China Banking Regulatory Commission is considering offering lifelong free bank accounts to Chinese citizens, the Guangzhou Daily reported Wednesday. Currently, Chinese banks charge clients annual service fees and account management fees. The free bank accounts, once approved, will mainly be used to receive salaries from employers and get social insurance, including health benefits and endowment insurance. |
