Despite engagement rumours, it looks like Keira Knightley might have gone from being an "awful girlfriend" to be an awful fiancee because she’s so busy with her career - and her co-stars.

A source close to the couple told the Mirror: "Keira's a really loving girlfriend but she's so insanely busy with work it's untrue."

"She's done everything in her power to make Rupert feel important but he still complains that he doesn't get enough attention, and it's causing real friction."

According to the newspaper, Rupert also had a run in with Keira's friend and Pirates of the Caribbean co-star Orlando Bloom: "[Rupert] went out with the Pirates cast to the Les Deux restaurant in LA and although it started out as a really nice evening he ended up rowing with Orlando."

"Orlando was calling Keira by her surname which Rupert didn't like. Then Orlando wanted the party to go on somewhere else, while Rupert was happy to stay put."

"It all seemed really petty but it annoyed Keira as she doesn't like her personal life spilling over into her work. She's very professional and won't let anything or anyone mess that up."

"She loves him but they've had some intense talks about where it's going. She knows that work has to be her priority: it's up to Rupert to decide whether he can deal with that --if not their days as a couple look numbered."
