Beyonce Knowles could have a lawsuit on her hands relating to a cover version of a Des'ree track.

The British singer claims that Beyonce did not have her full permission to record a cover of her track 'I'm Kissing You'. The song appeared on Beyonce's last album B'Day, under the title 'Still In Love (I'm Kissing You)'.

Des'ree yesterday filed the case at Manhattan Federal Court, with the intention of stopping the distribution of the song. She is also demanding $150,000 in damages.

The two parties originally communicated over the possibility of the cover but Knowles decided to forgo the negotiations and record the song anyway, according to Des'ree.
