The 'Going the Distance' actress - who is pregnant with her first child with fiancé Will Kopelman - is delighted she is having a daughter and "so excited" about the prospect of the forthcoming baby.

A source told Life & Style: "She's having a girl. She's so excited."

Previously Drew has claimed she would like to have a baby girl.

She said: "I feel I'm sort of surrounded by children and I do feel I'm going to have a child at some point. Maybe a little girl. I feel it, but I don't know if it's going to happen. We'll just have to wait and see."

It was recently claimed Drew - who has previously dated Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti and is the godmother to Kurt Cobain's daughter Frances Bean - was keen to marry Will before she gave birth.

A source said: "She wants to marry Will fast. Not just because she's pregnant but because she loves him and wants to be married before the baby is born.

"Drew's checking out dresses that will fit her then."
