Kelly Brook's boyfriend has "no interest" in her showbiz lifestyle.

The 'Piranha 3D' star - who has previously dated actors Billy Zane and Jason Statham - finds it "refreshing" that former rugby player Thom Evans doesn't get excited by glamorous parties and would rather focus on his sports training.

She said: "He has zero interest. I invited him to Cannes and I said, 'Please come, I'm going to lots of parties, I'm going to [P. Diddy's] party.' He has no interest.

"He's training, he's an athlete, he does his thing.

"We're so opposite - it's so refreshing because I guess people sometimes get attracted to that side of my life and they're there for the wrong reasons, so it's nice to be with someone that is there because they just want to take care of you, so it's really nice."

Kelly had a lot of fun at the Cannes Film Festival last week but she admits preparing for all the red carpet events was like a "military procedure".

She added in an interview on UK TV show 'Lorraine': "It takes a while (to get ready), I think for a red carpet event it's usually about two hours. Especially in Cannes, it's like a military procedure. Every day you're going to an event or going to a meeting or something, so it's really all about what you wear. And I love it, I love clothes, I love fashion so it's good fun, but, yeah, you do get quite exhausted by it all."
