    Words & Phrases        

1. light up：照亮，如：Firework lit up the sky with their explosions of red and gold. （紅色和金黃色的焰火照亮了天空。）

light up 也可以指“讓人的臉部放光彩，容光煥發(fā)”，如：A rare smile lit up his stern features. （他那難得一見的微笑給他死板的臉平添了一些生氣。）

2. drown out： 淹沒；（聲音等）蓋過；壓倒。
