英語(yǔ)中有許多習(xí)語(yǔ)是由表示人的“五官”的單詞組成。如果在學(xué)習(xí)生活中能使用這些習(xí)語(yǔ)，定能使語(yǔ)言生動(dòng)，文采倍增。

1.Eye

眼睛

an eye for an eye 以眼還眼，報(bào)復(fù)

catch someone’s eye 引某人注目，令人矚目

give someone a black eye 打得某人鼻青臉腫

be all eyes 極注意地看著，非常留神

see eye to eye（with）意見(jiàn)一致，立場(chǎng)相同

see with half an eye 一看就明白

shut one’s eye to 置之不理

3.Mouth

4.Nose

鼻子

lead someone by the nose 控制某人，牽著某人的鼻子走

pay through the nose 花大價(jià)錢，被敲竹杠

turn up one’s nose （at）輕視，瞧不起，嗤之以鼻

under someone’s （very） nose 在某人面前，當(dāng)著某人的面

as plain as the nose on your face 顯而易見(jiàn)，一清二楚

5.Tongue

舌
