Would-be exam cheater gets taste of own medicine

A young man in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, was recently cheated of 12,000 yuan ($1,760) after paying a conman for exam questions and answers to help his civil servant recruitment.

The man, surnamed Zhou, was duped after paying the big sum for the purported test questions after they were advertised online last month.

He did receive a copy of a likely exam paper but none of the questions on it appeared in the examination he sat.

Police launched an investigation after Zhou reported the case.
