On January 20th2015, "Chinese Patent Rankings" (the Rankings), a program co-created by "i-Think Tank" of Intellectual Property Publishing House (IPPH ) and people.com.cn, was officially released. It is reported that composed by five major detailed rankings which are based on objective data and updated monthly, the Rankings is sorted by regions, enterprises, scientific research institutions, colleges and universities as well as natural persons to comprehensively reflect the patent authorizationstatistics in China. So far, by releasing a total of 24 month's patent data from 2013 to 2014, the Rankings provoked great repercussion around the whole industry. In the latest Rankings, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhejiang University, State Grid Corporation of China and ZTE Corporation become the strong presence.
