China Development Forum 2005
The China Development Forum 2005, themed “China in the World Economy”, was successfully held in Beijing on March 20-21, 2005.
During the forum, the delegates carried out in-depth discussions and research on five issues: China’s macro-economic trend and the world economy, structural upgrade and technological innovation in China’s manufacturing sector, China’s taxation reform in opening-up, China in the world trade system, and opening-up of China’s financial market and the new trends in the international financial system.
Most delegates expressed that China has remained clearly aware of its challenges and has been endeavoring to adopt scientific and rational development strategies. They believed that the Chinese government will be able to solve all the problems in the future.
