Li Jianwei, research fellow and Vice-Director-General, Research Department of Social Development, Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC)

From 1983-1987 he studied at Business Administration Department of Shandong Economics College (now Shandong University of Finance and Economics) and received Bachelor's Degree in economics. From 1987-1989 he studied at Material Management Engineering Department of North Jiaotong University (now Beijing Jiaotong University) and received Master's Degree in engineering in 1992. From 1996-1999 he studied at Department of Economics of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and received PhD Degree in theoretical economics.

From 1989-2000 he worked respectively as Managerial Assistant (1993) and Vice Manager (1994) at Chinese Building Materials Corporation and Vice Manager (1999) of Beijing Tianli Building Materials Trading Company. From 2000-2011 he worked in DRC and took the posts respectively as Deputy Director (2001) and Director (2006) of Research Department of Macro Economy and Deputy Director-General (2011) of Research Department of Social Development. He became associate research fellow in 2001 and research fellow in 2007.

From 2011-2012 He participated in the PhD social service group sponsored by the Central Organization of CPC and worked as Vice Governor at Tujia-Miao Prefecture of Xiangxi, Hunan Province.
