Institute for Synergetic Development of Fudan University and Gansu Silk Road Economic Belt established

The Institute for Synergetic Development of Fudan University and the Gansu Silk Road Economic Belt was established in Zhangye on August 15, when its subsidiary post-doctoral base for "synergetic development of the Silk Road economic belt" was also unveiled in Hexi University.

Gansu Province and Fudan University will work together to advance the construction of the institute and the post-doctoral base. In 2-3 years, the institute is expected to become a key R&D platform of Fudan University for its Silk Road economic belt strategy and western development.

It will also be a driver for strategic cooperation between Gansu Province and Fudan University and the latter’s counterpart support to Hexi University, offering intelligent and technological support for Gansu to build a "Gansu golden section" of the economic belt.
