The mobile app Healthy Guiyang was launched by the Guiyang health and family planning commission on Dec 20.
The app allows Guiyang residents to better understand and control their own health and medical information, which is of great significance to the management of their personal health.
The app is part of the "Internet Plus Healthcare" strategy and provides electronic medical records, electronic health files, vaccination notifications, community follow-ups and family doctor applications for Guiyang residents.
A total of 290 Guiyang public hospitals or medical institutions at or above grade-three (China's third highest level for public hospitals) have been connected to the app, including a large number of medical records, images, ECGs, health records and community follow-ups.
The app allows Guiyang citizens to check their vaccination records, prescriptions, medical costs, physical examination results and family doctor contact services via real-name registration.
