In the first half of 2010, Hebei province-based Chinese steel producer Jinxi Iron and Steel Inc exported 253,800 tonnes of H-section steel with the total value of USD 143 million indicating YoY increases of 329% and 353% respectively.
Jinxi Steel remains China No 1 exporter of H-section steel with its export volume of this product accounting for 43% of China total H-section steel exports in the six months ending June 30, 2010.
Jinxi Steel is the largest section steel producer in China, with an annual production capacity of 10 million tonnes including 3 million tonnes of H-section steel. The steel producer has been ranked among China Top 500 companies since 2003.
