Hebei Airlines will enter into 2011 Spring Festival Transportation period (Chunyun) on Friday, five days ahead of other carriers, General Manager Luo Zhanling said, during Hebei Spring Festival Transportation News Briefing in Shijiazhuang on Wednesday.
Hebei Airlines plans to deal with the sudden surge of customers flow in three stages: the relatively dense inflow from Jan 14 to Jan 29, peak time from Jan 30 to Feb 13, a few days before and after the lunar New Year andthe dense outflow period from Feb 14 to 28.
The company schedules 30 flight each day, which makes the total number of flights during Chunyun period reaching 1,350, with 150,000 seats. Scientific arrangements of airplanes and maintenance will help ensure the best technical condition of the airplanes.
Ten premium services are also promised for the passengers including allowing each passenger to consign five extra kilograms of luggage for free, organizing lucky draw from Feb 2 to 7, sending souvenirs , etc.
