According to Cangzhou Bohai Port Co, Huahuagang Comprehensive Port has unloaded ships 226 times in the first half of the year. It has completed a freight handling capacity of 190 million tons, exceeding the plan by 18.7 per cent and in advance of the “Half-Half Plan” by 18 days. The bulk and general terminal has unloaded 185 times and its freight handling capacity was 7.34 million tons. The multipurpose terminal has unloaded 41 times and its freight handling capacity was 31,106 standardizing boxes, adding up to 366,700 tons.
The annual plan for the port is 13 million tons. For the successful completion of the “Half-Half Plan”, Cangzhou Bohai Port Co has ensured frequent supplies and introduced new supplies with fine management and the “going global and bringing in” strategy, and expanded the container business. Now the company has signed container lines agreements with China Shipping Container Lines Co, Zhonggu Shipping Co and Cosco Container Lines Co, and has set up a container office in Yinchuan, Xingtai and Dezhou. |
