Hebei province had 38 projects that recently received the “2012 Hebei IPR Cultivation Project” award for being patented, according to Hebei province’s Science and Technology Bureau and the provincial IPR Bureau. The 38 patents included 29 for inventions and 9 for utility models. They also resulted in profits of 2.42 billion yuan, since taking effect.
And, all 38 of the projects were applied to company production and resulted in sales worth 16.13 billion yuan ($2.58 billion) and foreign exchange earnings of 920 million yuan, and they helped cut company expenditures by 670 million.
The awards are intended to promote China’s intellectual property developments by making the issuing of patents and product utilization process easier and speeding up the industrialization of patented technology. |
