The goal will be achieved by increasing investment, stimulating consumption, promoting imports and exports and making steady industrial development a top priority.
Industrial restructuring and upgrades
Efforts will be made to ensure the success of four major programs that involve both traditional sector and new industries. It will also seek a new innovation-driving economic powerhouse in the year ahead.
Coordinated development
The government will continue its emphasis on encouraging private companies, growing the rural economy and improving the financial environment.
Modern agriculture and urbanization
Efforts will be made to ensure total grain output exceeds 34 billion kilograms.
Deepening reform and the opening up
The government will further streamline its structure as well as the process of administrative examination and approval. It will also enhance the level of opening up to the outside world.
Strengthened environmental protection
The government will try its best to alleviate air pollution and implement the nation's energy-saving plan.
Improving quality of life
The government will emphasize 47 items including social security, employment, affordable housing, elementary education and medical care.
Promoting social development
The government will make great efforts to boost social development and to ensure social stability.
