ReSource Pro, a US-based company with a back-office operation center in the Olympic sailing city of Qingdao, was recently selected as a Top 20 Business Process Outsourcing Enterprise ("BPO Top 20") in China on March 22.

The company is the only company specializing in operational efficiency solutions for the insurance industry among the awarded companies. It is also the largest of its kind around the globe, according to the BPO Top 20 ranking released at the Chinese Service Outsourcing Leaders Conference 2013 held last week in Tianjin.

"It is an honor to be included again among the BPO Top 20 players for 2013," said ReSource Pro CEO Dan Epstein, "especially as the industry continues to grow and mature with intensifying competition."

The conference is organized by China Sourcing, the official website of China Service Outsourcing Magazine in Tianjin, backed by the Ministry of Commerce. Over 2,000 companies applied to be evaluated for the award this year.

Local sources say outsourcing businesses in Qingdao had great growth in 2012, with a combined contract value of $800 million, ranking first in the province.
