Sun Zhaohua, deputy administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) met with Arthur Mol, the president of Wageningen University of the Netherlands, in Beijing on June 3. Sun introduced SAFEA’s function and expectation of cooperating with Wageningen University in agricultural technology and environmental science.

The two sides signed memorandums of understanding after the meeting.

Wageningen University is the only university in the Netherlands to focus specifically on the theme of ‘a(chǎn) healthy food and living environment’.
