The Shanxi provincial government signed a cooperation agreement, on June 30,with the CRRC Corporation Limited, the world's largest supplier of rail transit equipment, covering various areas, such as a rail transit equipment production base, emerging industries, engineering, and industrial funds.
CRRC has a vast product line and leading technology and already has a factory in Shanxi and a good industrial base there thanks to previous cooperation projects, so Shanxi's governor, Li Xiaopeng, in a meeting with its president, Cui Dianguo, said that Shanxi will do everything it can to develop rail transit in the province.
Li added that they are hoping CRRC will increase its investment in Shanxi, while using the company's advantages in capital, technology, management, and marketing to help Shanxi develop its modern equipment, energy-saving, and electric vehicle sectors more rapidly.
He concluded by saying that they will streamline their administration and create a good environment and efficient services for the company, to which Cui replied that they will come up with innovations in their cooperation with Shanxi to help its modern equipment manufacturing grow.
