The self-service tax service facilities were recently launched in Xintai, a county-level city in Tai'an, Shandong province, in a bid to deepen administration reform, improve local business environment and better serve the public.

The efficiency has been improved compared to the previous window service. A local citizen surnamed Cao completed the issuance of the VAT special invoice on the self-service tax handling machine in just a few minutes under the guidance of the staff.

The self-service vehicle purchase tax handling machines were also launched in the city to facilitate car buyers in dealing with related tax businesses.

According to the Xintai taxation bureau, the self-service tax facilities were also available in the city's towns and villages, making it easier for local residents to deal with tax business.
