Recently, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism released the first batch of villages to be included in the list of key rural tourism villages in China. Liyu village in Daolang town of Daiyue district is the only selected village in Tai'an, Shandong province.

The village is located at the western foot of the majestic Mount Tai, boasting beautiful scenery, pleasant environment and abundant scenic spots with mountain forest covering 5,000 mu (333.33 hectares).

It has won many honorary titles such as the "the best green village in China", "the model village of rural tourism in China", and "the most beautiful village in Shandong province".
