Comment on "End the vicious circle of poverty" (China Daily, Dec 10)

The vicious circle of poverty cannot be ended overnight. To end poverty or to reduce poverty, China has to establish economic equity.

Only equal participation and equity can help China achieve the final result. Poverty elimination, or at least reduction, depends on the redistribution reform.
