Zhoucun: Cradle of Lu merchants

Zhoucun: The 6th China (Zhoucun) Dry Wharf Tourist Culture Festival was held in Zhoucun in east China's Shandong province.

Zhoucun was once a trading center for merchants, which is where the name dry wharf comes from.

One of the major highlights of the festival was the revitalization of silk industry and a rare opportunity to see some traditional programs such as painting exhibitions in Songzhuang and jewelry auctions from the Beijing DelongBao International Auction Company.

Zhoucun of Shandong Province is a district under the jurisdiction of Zibo City.
