Here is one more reason to visit Danger Doyle's (DD愛爾蘭酒吧) besides watching your favorite sport over a mug of good draft beer - pizza.
Its Italy-trained chefs offer 24 different kinds of pizzas hot from the wood-fired oven. Popular choices include classic bacon and cheese, sweet and spicy shrimp, Texas chicken, smoked pork, Thai style chicken, and even Peking roast duck. There are also vegetarian options.
According to Xie Rongqingyuan, deputy general manager, DD restaurant's pizzas are made with fine wheat flour, quality imported cheese, pizza sauce, and fresh topping. The use of fruit woods such as peach, pear and apple give the pizzas a fruity fragrance.
Choose from authentic Irish Guinness, Strongbow, Carlsberg, Stella Artois, Kilkenny or Tsingtao as you catch your favorite sport on the large-screen TVs .
And, if you feel like a break, head to the second floor, for a game of pool, or darts. This floor too has a restaurant and bar area, equipped with a stage for musical performances, and an outdoor terrace ideal for parties on warm days.
A mug of 500 ml Guinness costs 50 yuan. Pizzas go for between 48 and 78 yuan. Besides pizza, you can also tuck into well-grilled chicken wings and hamburgers.
