The Zhongguancun Science Park administrative committee has approved the Zhongguancun Software Park as a demonstration base for innovative credit in 2013, the first such park in Zhongguancun to receive this approval.

A total of 23 small and medium-size enterprises in the software park have initiated credit projects, 67 enterprises have credit records and 85 have used credit reports. Financial institutions have provided credit loans amounting to a total of 186 million yuan ($30.49 million) to enterprises in the software park.

Zhongguancun Science Park initiated a series of innovative credit solutions in 2012. The park provides specific credit services for enterprises at different stages of development, and has established a credit services system - becoming a bridge between enterprises and financial institutions.

The software park focuses on basic credit management and its business applications, including an index system of credit records of enterprises, as well as credit conditions and supervision according to each specific case. The credit information of the enterprises also facilitates the process for governmental and financial institutions promoting innovation in the field of science and technology financing.
