The environmentally-friendly trash compactor

At the 16th China High-Tech Fair in Shenzhen, Huatong Technology, a company headquartered in Zhuhai, will release its new environmentally-friendly trash compactor in the hope of attracting more attention from potential customers. This solar-powered device is able to compress trash automatically.

Powered by sunlight through its solar cells and equipped with a storage battery, this machine works in every kind of weather, even on snowy or rainy days. The sensor inside can begin the compressing process automatically when its contents reach a certain level. The dustbin has a capacity of 600 liters, five to nine times bigger than an ordinary trash can. At present, some of these products have been installed at bus terminals and business districts in Zhuhai’s Hengqin New district, as part of their trial operations.

Additionally, the solar-powered environmentally-friendly trash cans can send a text to garbage collectors’ phones when they are full.

According to people familiar with this technology, the device features such characteristics as automatic sensors, gradual decline muting, anti-corrosion, anti-fingerprint, anti-aging, striking and scratch resistance. It can be widely used in various public places including gardens, streets and public agencies.
