Xianghe’s robotics businesses were very popular at the exhibition, which attracted companies for consultations and negotiations.

As an important robotics industry base in northern China, Xianghe Robot Industrial Port was established in 2014, with total investment of about 1 billion yuan ($145.1 million) for infrastructure construction.

Only 40 kilometers away from Beijing Central Business District, Xianghe Robot Industrial Port is taking advantage of its location to undertake research, design and produce industrial robots and other types of advanced machines.

Currently, Xianghe Robot Industrial Port is focusing on robot components, parts production and product assembly. It will further deepen robot technology research and development, along with the construction of infrastructure, financial services, technology services, incubators, and platforms for product display and trade.

Due to the advantage of its location and perfect supporting facilities, Xianghe Robot Industrial Port has successfully attracted about 40 robot businesses to the area. By the end of this year, the number of businesses there is expected to reach 50, and 30 of them will have commenced operations, achieving annual revenues of 1.8 billion yuan.
