The 2022 Xiamen China Time-honored Traditional Brand Culture Festival was held in Siming district, Xiamen, which is a city located in East China's Fujian province, from Nov 25 to 27, and aimed to promote the innovative development of Xiamen's time-honored brands and?boost awareness of those brands among younger generations.

An awards ceremony was also held at the opening ceremony, and a total of 19 time-honored brand enterprises received honors. They were evaluated from the aspects of skills inheritance, operation management and product research and development.

During the three-day event, attendees got a chance to experience time-honored brands' unique charm of quality products and characteristic delicacies such as traditional food, health care products, and handicraft works.

A high-quality agricultural product promotion activity, one of the main activities during the event, got underway on Nov 25, and local official of Jiangle county introduced the profound cultural deposits in Jiangle county, which has a history of about 1,000 years.

On Nov 26, the organizing committee launched a themed tour to historical places in Xiamen such as the Gulangyu History and Culture Exhibition Hall and the Pien?Tze?Huang Museum, offering people a chance to have a closer look at Xiamen's marine culture and the inheritance and development of Xiamen's time-honored brands.

According to official data, Xiamen currently has fostered more than 100 time-honored brands, with 12 being added to the China Time-honored Brand list, and 20 receiving Fujian Time-honored Brand honors.
