Apple Watch takes crown in smartwatches' customer satisfaction, with strong performance in terms of comfort, style, appearance, and ease of use, according to the US-based global market research company J.D. Power.

Closely following Apple Watch, Samsung's smartwatch performs well in terms of customer service, display size, and phone features.

In J.D. Power's 2016 Smartwatch Device Satisfaction Report, the overall satisfaction with smartwatches among 2,696 respondents who bought a smartwatch within the past 12 months was measured in May and June.

The report examined customer satisfaction across 11 factors, including ease of use, comfort, battery life, phone features, price, strength/durability, display size, style/appearance, reliability, apps available, and customer service (listed in order of importance), based on a 1,000-point scale.

19 percent of respondents said they had experienced at least one problem with their smartwatches, with 29 percent having issues with battery charges not lasting long enough or not charging at all, 23 percent having customizing difficulties and 22 percent experiencing broken chargers.
