This year marks the eighth anniversary of the Guangzhou Oktoberfest and the ongoing festival until Sept 26 will carry on the joyful tradition of offering guests German beer, German foods and German dance show.

Oktoberfest celebrated its 200th Anniversary in 2010 and today, the Oktoberfest in Munich is the largest fair in the world. The host of the Guangzhou Oktoberfest wants to keep this German tradition alive and well in China.

The Bavarian band, Muenchner Musikanten, will perform at the Guangzhou event. With more than 500 performances spanning more than 17 years, this energetic Oktoberfest band knows how to get the audience excited.

And the host will launch a German-style brunch this Sunday from 11:30am-3pm.
