Hire a dad on Children's Day

You may have heard about hiring a girlfriend or boyfriend to visit your parents with during Spring Festival. But how about hiring a "dad" to spend Children's Day with your kid?

A single mother surnamed Huang in the southern city of Shenzhen recently put up an advertisement online searching for a man to accompany her daughter on Children's Day, offering 500 yuan ($80) for the job, according to Southern Metropolis Daily on Sunday.

The candidate must be a married man with a child who is amicable and mature, said the recruitment ad.

The job is not very demanding - it requires the "one-day dad" to take the girl to attend activities in school, and it would be better if he wanted to spend more time with the girl who "lacks the love of a father" by going to the park or eating dinner together.
