Thai protesters threaten to come back if demands not met

BANGKOK -- Tens of thousands of anti-government demonstrators dispersed from the government house in early Sunday morning after reading statement and posting it at a main gate of the government house.

The mass rally started from Saturday afternoon in central Bangkok's Sanam Luang, later night they marched to the government house.  

Veera Musikapong, core leader of the anti-government group Democratic Alliance Against Dictatorship (DAAD), read out a statement of four demanding, urging the government to take legal action against the leaders of the anti-Thaksin People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD), who led protesters to occupy the government house and seize both Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang airports late last year.

The statement also urged to sack Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya, to dissolve the house of representative and to amend the present constitution or reuse the 1997 constitution which was canceled by the coup in September 2006.

Veera said the DAAD-led protesters will return if their demands would not be met within 15 days.
