HONG KONG -- Hong Kong stocks closed down 261.03 points, or 1.48 percent, at 17,407.80 on Sept 26.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 17,734.84 and 16, 999.54. Turnover totaled $79.18 billion ($10.15 billion).
